How to - Origami waterbomb aka origami water balloon

Here it is, another traditional origami model. It is one of my favorites, mainly because it is simple yet beautiful and interesting. Although similar in popularity to the origami crane, the waterbomb is quite a different model. It steps up a notch the difficulty level when compared to the crane, but it is by no means a difficult model. When properly folded, the waterbomb is very sturdy and makes a good toy for playing with the kids or juggling. It is also considered the base for many other more complex models. Hence the reference to the “waterbomb base” in other origami instructions. When folding the waterbomb, the only troublesome steps come in the end, where you have to develop some skill in order to tuck in some tiny flaps in order to seal the model. Do not worry, once you have folded a couple of these, it will become second nature. Follow the video and check out the resources below for better understanding.
