Once the wax is melted, hold the wick in place in the middle of the mold and pour in the wax.  Allow the wax to cool for about four to six hours before you attempt to remove it from the mold.  Sometimes the candle can be easily removed by placing it in the freezer for about half an hour.  In order to easier remove the finished candle, non-stick cooking spray can be sprayed onto the mold before pouring the wax into it.  This is a cool technique in how to make your own candles.

However, latex molds are highly flexible which makes it a bit complex to make them stand on end to pour the wax into the bottom.  What you will need to do is to cut a hole in a piece of sturdy cardboard.  The hole should be big enough so the mold slips up to the lip only.  Specifically, for this purpose, all latex molds should be provided with a lip.  The wax can then be poured into the bottom of the mold and the cardboard will act as support.
